Briefing: The building is the new minimal residence for the Swiss Ambassador in Mexico City. While concrete is the dominant material used throughout, terrazzo floor and black granite volumes add to the building’s striking appearance. Greenery, nature, and textiles provide a softer composition juxtaposed alongside its geometrically defined austerity. Aside from the privacy and ambient, the textile also contributes to the acoustics.

Briefing: Das Gebäude ist die neue minimalistische Residenz des Schweizer Botschafters in Mexiko City. Während Beton das dominierende Material ist, tragen Terrazzoböden und schwarze Granitplatten zum markanten Erscheinungsbild des Gebäudes bei. Gärten, Natur und Textilien sorgen für eine weichere Komposition, die der geometrischen Strenge des Gebäudes gegenübergestellt wird. Neben dem Schutz der Privatsphäre und dem Ambiente, trägt der Stoff auch zur Akustik bei.
