AVS – Office for Consumer Protection – Innovative Real Estate

The newly designed office and laboratory spaces of AVS, created by Markus Schietsch Architects, showcase a tangible and visually striking building known as the “Holy-Hybrid Pavilion.” Built from wood sourced from the Aargau state forest and recycled concrete, the structure is powered by groundwater heating and photovoltaic systems, highlighting its sustainable approach. Both the building’s sustainable, versatile design and its contemporary, practical interior are particularly impressive.

In collaboration with color designer Katrin Oechslin and the architects, the offices were equipped with daylight curtains while the lobby was enriched with an artistic color gradient printed on the quality Georgette displayed in front of an acoustic curtain. This textile intervention gives the modern two-story building a sophisticated, high-quality architectural expression.
